Performance Adaptations

The purchasing director/organization is granted permission to double, substitute, arrange, omit, simplify, or otherwise adapt the music as reasonably necessary to accommodate the instrumentation and abilities of their ensemble for the purchaser’s performance of the work..

Any arrangement or alteration made under this permission may not be distributed, sold, shared, or otherwise used by another ensemble or organization. Arrangements or alterations beyond those reasonably necessary for the initial performance require prior permission from the composer.

Copies for the Purchasing Ensemble

The purchasing director/organization is granted permission to make the number of copies of the score and parts reasonably necessary for the musicians in their purchasing ensemble.

The purchaser may make additional copies of the score as needed for festival, contest, adjudication, or other performance-related purposes.

Copies may not be sold, shared, uploaded, emailed, posted, or otherwise distributed—whether physically or digitally—to another director, ensemble, school, organization, or individual without prior permission from the composer.

Recordings

The purchasing ensemble is granted permission to make and publicly share recordings of its performances of this work, including through websites, social media, video-sharing platforms, and other online services, without obtaining additional permission from the composer.

The composer/publisher expressly reserves the right to request removal of any recording that violates the terms of this license or otherwise uses the work outside the permissions granted herein.

Copyright Ownership

Purchase of this music does not transfer copyright ownership or any rights not expressly granted in this license. All copyrights in the composition, arrangement, score, and parts remain with the composer/publisher.
